Bridgetown
Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados.  It is located on the southwest coast.  It is the hub for cruise ships which is great for visitors to the island…shopping is not far from the Harbour.  Broad Street is the main street of Bridgetown and has many stores and banks.  Most of the stores offer duty-free shopping. The biggest store is Cave Shepherd which has high end clothes and also a variety of souvenirs.  Cave Shepherd also has a restaurant upstairs and the food is delicious.  I love going there for lunch.  Simple but tasty.  Cave Shepherd must be added to your list of places to visit.  Bridgetown is very historic and is the location for Barbados Parliament. Bridgetown  was recently added to UNESCO’S World Heritage list.  It’s the first heritage site in Barbados to be added to the list.
